Session One: The 2021 Health and Hunger Summit Series

Food and Hunger in My Neighborhood: In this session, we’ll discuss food insecurity and resources to address it in Boone, Lincoln, and Logan Counties. It’s a “beginners” session on these issues, where we’ll define terms such as “food deserts” and explain how food pantries are funded and sustained. We’ll end with a discussion on how attendees can get involved in addressing hunger in their communities.
